ROSEVALE UNCLE SAM U20 (PS)
Uncle Sam U20(PS) is the first son to be offered by USA sire Hefte Ranch D25(P).
They offer a genetic outcross and are interesting types. Extra length of body is a feature of these bulls along with very high percent normal semen morphology results. Uncle Sam tested at 86% normal. This is reflected in his EBV for this trait which ranks him in the top 1% of the breed.
Uncle Sam’s growth EBVs are very solid. His Days to Calving EBV is good by past standards but could quite easily improve. There is a lag on this measurement on cattle that have not previously been recorded as this bull’s sire has not. All of Uncle Sam’s half sisters from this drop were PTIC as yearlings but this data won’t filter through Breedplan until they have calved. We expect an improvement here which will help increase both the Breeding Production and Fertility Plus $indexes of D25’s progeny.
Uncle Sam is a tidy sheathed, well balanced bull, backed by one of our top female lines.
